Control OBS with gesturesControla OBS con gestos
There is no plugin to install: OBS Studio lets you assign keyboard hotkeys to almost anything, and Appromove presses keys when it sees a gesture, a pose or a word. Join the two and your body runs the stream.

In OBS: give the action a key
Settings → Hotkeys. Find the action (switch to a scene, start/stop recording, save replay, mute a mic…) and press a key your game doesn't use, for example Insert, Home or Page Up.

Turn on Gesture control and test
With F6 on, do the gesture and watch OBS react. OBS hotkeys work while you play, as long as you keep OBS's default hotkey focus setting.

Tips: a gesture bound to an OBS key no longer plays in the game, so pick moves you don't need there (or use a separate profile). Avoid Appromove's own hotkeys (F6–F11). This is a setup you do with OBS's standard hotkeys, not an official OBS integration.

Your webcam can only be open in one program at a time. On the app's Stream page, Share camera solves it: Appromove keeps using the webcam and broadcasts its own video as “Appromove Virtual Camera”, which you add in OBS Studio, Discord, Zoom or the browser.

It's the same image you see in Appromove, with what it draws on it: the pixel skeleton and the “GESTURE > KEY” labels (Subtle style), and your Face Overlay if it's on.

- Turn on Share camera on the Stream page. The first time, Windows asks for permission (UAC) to register the name.
- In OBS: Sources → + → Video Capture Device → Appromove Virtual Camera.
- Reuse it in other scenes with + → “Add Existing”.
- Activa Compartir cámara en la página Stream. La primera vez, Windows pide permiso (UAC) para registrar el nombre.

It uses the virtual camera driver that comes with OBS Studio 28 or later, so install OBS once even if you only want it for Discord. Don't click “Start Virtual Camera” in OBS while sharing: the driver accepts one sender at a time. The “Connect with OBS” card on the Stream page shows these steps in the app.

Presence detection: handle the stream when you step awayDetección de presencia: controla el stream si te vas
Presence Detection, on the app's Stream page, checks whether someone is in front of the camera and whether they are sitting or standing. You give it a key; when you go into a state you are not watching, it presses that key once.
Detección de presencia, en la página Stream de la app, comprueba si hay alguien frente a la cámara y si está sentado o de pie. Le das una tecla; cuando pasas a un estado que no estás vigilando, la pulsa una vez.
- Sitting ✓ Standing ✓ the key fires when you leave the frame.

Give it the key of your OBS “BRB” scene hotkey and OBS switches by itself when you get up from the desk. It fires once per change (with a 2-second cooldown), not when you come back: use a gesture bound to your main scene's hotkey to return.

It works best with the webcam at monitor height: it reads you as away when it can't see your face, and as standing when it sees your shoulders and hips.
